He has served in the U.S. Senate, at the State Department, in the White House, and on multiple presidential campaigns. He is a longtime advisor and speechwriter for Hillary Clinton, and was her principal collaborator on three #1 New York Times bestselling books.
Dan has taught speechwriting at George Washington University and the University of Southern California. He is a senior fellow at the USC’s Annenberg Center on Communication Leadership & Policy.
Dan is the Co-Founder & Managing Partner of Evergreen Strategy Group and lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife YJ and their sons Theo and Jamie.
